SABRINA LANCASTER
Sabrina Lancaster is an emerging mixed media fibre artist based in Aurora, Ontario. Storytelling is at the heart of her practice, guiding a body of work that explores themes of love and self-discovery through imaginative dreamscapes. Her art balances lighthearted curiosity with moments of thoughtful introspection, inviting viewers into a space of wonder and reflection.
With a background in Women’s Studies from Western University, Sabrina’s practice is deeply informed by an exploration of textiles and embroidery as forms of traditional “women’s work.” Through this lens, she builds feminine worlds that celebrate craft, nurture narrative, and expand the possibilities of fibre art. Working with hand embroidery, beadwork, and textile manipulation, her richly layered pieces weave together narrative, emotion, and cultural history.
