Located in the heart of Aurora, Ontario, Micak Contemporary Art Gallery opened in November 2024 in the St. Andrew’s Village Shopping Centre. The gallery features two floors and three exhibition spaces, showcasing a wide range of artwork through curated exhibitions. The gallery shows a range of media including paintings, photographs, ceramics, glass, textiles, art books, and digital works.
Micak Gallery showcases a blend of established artists and emerging local talent, offering all works for purchase.

Whether building a private collection, acquiring a single statement piece, or sourcing works for corporate spaces, the gallery connects clients with carefully selected artwork. About the Director
Founder and director Katie Micak brings over 20 years of experience in the arts. She holds a BFA from Western University and an MFA in Video Art from Syracuse University. Her career includes directing galleries, curating international exhibitions, and working with institutions such as the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. She has led Propeller Gallery in Toronto, managed exhibitions and residencies at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, and founded Vector Festival, an internationally recognized digital art event. Katie has also taught at the university level and worked as an independent curator across Canada. Returning to her hometown of Aurora, she established Micak Gallery to connect the community with exciting, collectible artwork through her global network of artists and advisors.
