TERESA DUNLOP

Teresa Dunlop is a ceramic artist based in Newmarket, Ontario. After more than 30 years as an elementary school teacher, she was inspired by her students’ creativity to pursue a second career as a maker. In 2014, she completed an Advanced Diploma in Craft and Design—Ceramics at Sheridan College, building on earlier degrees from the University of Toronto and the Ontario Teacher Education Centre.

 

Teresa spent three years as an artist-in-residence in the Ceramic Studio at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, where she deepened her practice and began exhibiting widely. Since 2017, she has worked from her own studio in Newmarket, creating thoughtfully crafted ceramic objects that blend beauty and function. She also teaches, leads workshops, and shares her passion for ceramics through presentations and demonstrations.
