She’s A Work of Art is a drop-in event that centres survivors’ voices and creativity. Together, we honour the strength it takes to heal from sexual violence and affirm that every survivor deserves safety, respect, and choice.

On Saturday October 3rd, Micak Gallery will be the exhibiting hopeful and uplifting artworks create by survivors starting at 12:00PM that is free to attend and open to the public until our event that starts at 3:00 PM.

This drop in event runs from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with refreshments and live entertainment included in your ticket price.

Also included in your ticket is an artwork create by a survivor supported by the WSN. Choose from the donated drawings, paintings and sculptures your choice as token of appreciation for your support.

By registering, you support the Women’s Support Network of York Region in providing free crisis support, counselling, education, and advocacy to our community. Your presence helps create a safer, more informed York Region where survivors are believed and supported. 💜

Micak Gallery is open Wednesdays- Saturdays, 12pm - 5pm or by appointment.

We are located in the St. Andrew's Village Plaza near Centra. Look for the neon pink ART sign.

Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible, with a small barrier to entry and washrooms located in the lower level, but will do our best to assist with accommodation. Wheelchair accessible washrooms are located in the plaza.
