EDMUND MOK

Originally from Hong Kong, Edmund Mok bridges Eastern and Western cultures, artistic traditions, and ideas. Working primarily in ink wash painting, he uses the medium to create striking contrasts and layered depth, resulting in dynamic, richly expressive imagery. Mok holds a Master of Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University and has exhibited his work internationally over his decades-long career.

Since moving to Canada in 2018, he has fallen in love with the regional landscape and wildlife, seamlessly blending Canadian imagery with traditional Chinese painting techniques to create a style of painting all his own.
