DANIEL WU

Daneil Wu graduated from York University’s Fine Arts program, specializing in Visual Arts. Now retired, he has rediscovered his creative practice through encaustic painting, a dynamic medium that uses melted beeswax. Wu explores a wide range of techniques and handcrafts his own encaustic medium and coloured waxes. Inspired by landscapes, nature, abstract forms, and his love of travel and the outdoors, his layered paintings explore texture, movement, and the unexpected beauty that emerges through experimentation.
